We source suitable open tonnage, coordinate market indications and negotiate the fixture with owners and operators.

We identify and screen the vessel owners, carriers, hauliers, agents and specialists suited to the cargo and route.

You define the cargo, origin, destination and timing. We assess the transport options, approach qualified providers and bring back a commercially comparable shortlist.
You contract with the selected provider and pay them directly. Poseidon stays between the commercial and operational parties, maintaining one plan and one line of communication through delivery.

Common questions
What does Poseidon actually do?
You give us the cargo, route and timing. We identify suitable carriers and specialist providers, coordinate the commercial terms and remain the central point of contact through execution.
Do you own or operate vessels?
No. Poseidon is independent and asset-light. Transportation and handling are performed by the vessel owner, carrier or specialist provider appointed for the movement.
How are you paid?
You contract with and pay the appointed carrier or service provider directly. Poseidon receives an agreed commission from that provider. There is no separate brokerage invoice to you.
Who do you work with?
Primarily commodity traders and manufacturers moving commercial cargo. We work worldwide, subject to sanctions, counterparty and transaction screening.
Do you accept customers from any country?
No. We do not accept counterparties located in sanctioned jurisdictions or appearing on applicable sanctions lists, and we screen every counterparty before engaging. Our screening policy is published in full.
