Poseidon exists for cargo movements that need more than a standard booking. We source vessel owners, carriers and specialist providers, coordinate the commercial structure and keep the operating parties aligned through final delivery.

Our asset-light model keeps the recommendation independent. We do not have a vessel, container fleet or truck to keep occupied. The provider is selected against the cargo, route, timing and risk profile of the movement.

One accountable coordination point

The person who develops the provider options remains close to the movement through execution. That continuity matters when terms change, documents are late or a milestone moves: the context does not have to be rebuilt before action can be taken.

During live execution, the coordinating contact is available 24/7. Outside execution, new enquiries are assessed within one business day.

Singapore company, worldwide market

Poseidon is incorporated in Singapore and works the market worldwide. The desk keeps practical overlap with both Asian and European business hours, and the provider network follows the cargo rather than a single regional base.

How we are paid

You contract with and pay the appointed carrier or specialist provider directly. Poseidon receives its commission from that provider under a separate commercial arrangement. This keeps the transport contract, operational responsibility and payment obligation with the party performing the work. Read the commercial structure.

How we publish technical material

Every guide and calculator is published under Poseidon's editorial responsibility for cargo owners, charterers and introducers. We do not accept guest articles, paid editorial or syndicated copy. The subject stays within maritime brokerage, chartering and voyage planning relevant to the company's work.

Contract and calculation pages state their scope, name the convention being used and link to primary sources. Worked figures are made checkable rather than presented as market quotes. Licensed form wording and market data remain with their publishers, and the signed contract or transaction-specific advice always takes precedence.
